Feel at Home in Yourself.
Even when the world feels heavy and chaotic, healing and belonging are still possible.
Together, we will get you there.
My approach
I believe healing starts with being fully seen and understood. In our work together, I strive to create a safe and liberating space where you can explore your lived experiences with care and intention. My approach is trauma-informed, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive. I recognize that many of our struggles don’t exist in isolation but within systems that weren’t built for us. Together, we’ll work toward reclaiming your story and rebuilding a sense of self that feels grounded, empowered, and whole.
Are you feeling anxious, tired, or simply worn down by the weight of it all?
Maybe you’ve noticed a lack of energy or interest in things that used to bring you joy. You might be holding so many expectations, responsibilities, and suppressed emotions that it feels hard to keep going. You’re not alone in this, and it’s ok to seek support. Therapy can be a space to pause, breathe, and begin understanding what your mind and body are asking for. Together, we can find ways to bring back meaning, connection, and balance into your life.
Centered on YOU
Your story is powerful and worth honoring. In our work together, I invite you to slow down, heal, and reconnect with what truly matters, so you can live a life that feels authentic and meaningful.

Hello, I am Dr. Sunny Ho (he/him)
-

I’m a licensed psychologist dedicated to helping people heal and find liberation in a world that hasn’t always made space for their full selves. My work is rooted in an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach that centers your lived experiences. I support Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQQ+, and first and second generation immigrants in reconnecting with who you are beneath the noise. In our work together, healing becomes not just recovery—but an act of empowerment, resistance, and self-liberation.
Clients’ Testimonies
“Sunny Ho listens with great compassion. His abilities to hold space for my emotions and experiences are just beyond exceptional. As a first gen immigrant also working in healthcare, I could not be more grateful for his unique approach through the lenses of racial and social justice. Over the years, he has guided me to navigate through all kinds of obstacles in healing and has always been my anchor in this process. ”
“As a bilingual and bicultural client, Sunny has understood me for the two years we have worked together. Sunny meets me with his similar upbringing moving from Asia to America as a teenager. Specifically, he remembers the detailed events I share, unpacks the emotional patterns, and accompanies me in my growth, which makes me feel seen and supported. He is also an active teaching professor in Psychology, in which he can provide the scientific reasoning and technicality to back up his approaches and explain the tendencies of his clients. He is also receptive to feedback and can offer different approaches and styles based on a client’s needs. Overall, I would recommend Sunny to anyone who is looking for someone who is understanding and offers a non-judgemental, empowering, and hopeful space.”
